Mmmmmm Weekends

Another weekend has gone by.
As per usual, mine was jam packed with great food, awesome people and some familiar sights.

One highlight would have to be visiting Snob Cafe near Hongik Univ.
According to my "Seoul Sweet Travel" book, it's definitely a place worth visiting, and thus I ventured with a new friend, who was might I add, sweet as the cake there.

Ambience:
It's like a mansion turned into a cafe, (a little mansion). The interior is surprisingly minimalist though. just tables and chairs and mostly two seater tables.
Intimate, cozy, the wooden floor and the ceiling sort of gives off an echo-y noise which was a bit annoying as you had to really scream to talk.
But it's very cute, but not one of those comfy spots that you could stay at for hours with a book in hand.

On the way to Snob.

Food:
Tried the Citron cake and Earl Grey Cake.
The latter was so delicious!!! It was nice to try something that isn't the usual: chocolate, fresh cream, coffee flavoured or so.

Seriously, I'd go back just for the Earl Grey Cake! In fact, I will. Maybe tomorrow. we'll see.

It's located on the road walking from Hongik Univ to Far East Broadcasting Station.
Seoul, Mapo district, Sangsu-dong. 86-53.
