Breakfast at Shinsegye

Department stores...every girl's dream, especially if you are a girl like me who likes to incorporate eating out of every shopping trip.

Department stores in Korea come with the all shebang from food court downstairs to restaurants in the upper levels.
There's something for all tastebuds and I like to dabble in bit of this and bit of that.
This day was no exception when we went to one department store and ate upstairs and then made our way down for some tasty Dalloyau bread. mmmm

Had good ol' fashioned pork belly Korean style, cooked at your tabletop over charcoal.
The restaurant '678' is owned by a Korean celebrity so it has some following.
Overall good, down to earth taste in a clean establishment, although the walls were littered with celeb autographs.

Dessert to wash it all down with.

Alaska in Seoul

Went to 'Alaska' bakery/cafe in the middle of Seoul.
Was divine....mmmm delicious bread in all forms and perfect little (well maybe not so miniature) mugs and coffee.
When you dine in, they cut up your bread selection in bite sizes for you and bring it to you with your coffee. Great Service!


Set out like a salon/inside of a bakery, it's relaxed to a point where you get drowsy.
Perfect little place to nibble on some sweets, sip on an Americano and chat away.
