Like mother like daughter

I've noticed that of girls in the magazine, I'm drawn to second generation fashionistas rather than your typical rags to riches A-listers. We know that Kate Moss is trendy, Jessica Alba looks good all the time etc etc.
However I seem to have a hankering for the wardrobes of girls who have mums who were 'it girls' in the past. Hmmm maybe style is in the DNA afterall. Or it could be both nature and nurture. Being brought up by mums who dictate what will be in next month's Vogue probably can't hurt a girl's sense of style.

Call them fashion royalty if you will, here are some of my faves.

Julia Restoin-Roitfeld (daughter of French Vogue editor), a true Parisienne, Julia seems to like her black, simple cuts and she does it so well.
The mamma, Carine Roitfeld of French Vogue.
Apple doesn't fall far from the tree indeed.
Then there's Bea Shaffer, daughter of Anna Wintour of American Vogue. Bea likes to glam it up in understated classic style but I read somewhere that even she has to borrow jewellery despite having a mother who heads Vogue. Granted the jewellery she borrows are from Bvlgari and probably costs more that most people's homes.

Margherita Missoni of the errr Missoni fortune. This girl is like a walking advertisement for her family's fashion empire. Like a Missoni collection her looks are various, fun, colourful and experimental.

And then.......get ready for it....
My absolute favourite girl that I've never met, the one and only Charlotte Casiraghi.
I've had a girl crush on Charlotte since I saw her in a magazine some 10 years ago while I was checking out her brothers. Charlotte Casiraghi (daughter of Princess Caroline of Monaco, granddaughter of Grace Kelly). Full time socialite and professional Equestrian.
Polished all the time, she's up with the trends and manages to jazz up every seemingly plain ensemble. She can do no wrong in my eyes.

Like mother like daughter.
OMG OMG OMG I love her. Looks, wardrobe, great ancestry, Charlotte has it all.
At this point I'd like to ask  "Why God, why is life so unfair?"
